The year 2017 is off with a strong and dynamic start for PLATEFORME 10 with a donation of CHF 10 million from the Loterie Romande, a donation of 7 Cahiers à dessin - and the purchase of an eighth - by the artist Aloïse, which will go into the mcb-a fund, and an agreement signed between the State and the Swiss Federal Railways (SBB) concerning the future of the management position at the PLATEFORME 10 site.
In addition, during the first half of the year, texts relating to the construction on the site of PLATEFORME 10 of the building intended to house the Musée de l’Elysée and the mudac - Museum of Contemporary Design and Applied Arts - will be submitted to the Conseil d’Etat and then to the Grand Council. The year 2017 will also see the Lausanne Municipal Council examine the elements concerning the future relocation of the mudac, as will be opened the procedure for the investigation of the second phase of the implementation of PLATEFORME 10.
As a preamble to these stages, and in line with the progress and implementation of this important cultural project, the commitment of civil society and partner entities is once again emphasized.
