The Fondation Toms Pauli has moved to PLATFORME 10, the new arts district in Lausanne.
In 2020, after 20 years in the heart of the city, the Fondation Toms Pauli relocated to the new building that houses the Musée cantonal des Beaux-Arts de Lausanne (MCBA), designed by the architects Barozzi and Veiga. Our administrative offices have been moved there as well as the cantonal collections of 16th- 20th-century tapestries, our specialised library and the artistic archives of the International Centre of Ancient and Modern Tapestries (CITAM).
The public will have the chance to discover the collections preserved and cared for by the Fondation at temporary exhibitions organised at the MCBA or abroad. Apart from these specific events, the works will not be on view in the Museum’s permanent exhibition rooms.
Our first, not-to-be-missed event
In the summer of 2023, the Fondation will be presenting a double exhibition featuring the works
of two artists that marked the history of Fiber Art in the second half of the 20th century.
Collections
Although the year 2020 was chiefly concerned with the Foundation’s move, we are happy
to announce that new works have enriched our collections:
